The Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC) is a forum for investors to collaborate on climate change. Undertaking scenario analysis is one of the key recommendations made by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The IIGCC publishes a guide to help steer investors through the process.
Based on insight gainned through extensive workshops and interviews with investors, the guide helps to close the knowledge gap on scenario analysis. It sets out a five-step framework to help asset owners and managers use scenario analysis, in understand how climate changes drives financial impact across their portfolios.
