On 22 February, Triodos Investment Management won the Euromoney’s Private Banking and Wealth Management Award for having the best SRI funds in the Netherlands.
Euromoney’s Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey was used as the barometer for the award and featured participants from 70 countries, ranging from private banking to wealth management, covering various product and client categories by region and across the globe. This is the second year in a row that Triodos Investment Management’s SRI funds have ranked among the top SRI products in the industry, and the first year that the funds were awarded #1 in the Netherlands.
Through the four Triodos Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) funds, Triodos Investment Management invests in equities or (sub-) sovereign bonds issued by stock-listed companies that have a strong financial position and an exceptional social and environmental performance. Companies are considered only if they outperform their peers on sustainability within their sectors, and if they comply with Triodos’ strict minimum standards.
The companies within the SRI funds are leaders in their sectors, challenging their peers towards higher standards of environmental, social and financial performance. As influential multinational companies, they have a global impact on environmental and social change.
